A DVD+R media offers most of the functionality of DVD+RW discs when used
in a DVD+RW video recorder, with the exception of some features that
require rewritability.
Drives and Video
Recorders that support this format include the HP DVD-Writer DVD200
Series,
Philips DVDRW208, Ricoh MP5120A, Dell (model # TBD), Sony DRU110A/C1,
Philips DVDR1000/1500/2000 video recorders and others.
Please
thoroughly review the capabilities and limitations of your hardware to
ensure compatibility with this media. Some DVD+ Writers will read
this media but may not write to DVD+R disc. Some manufacturers
have updated drivers available that allow their drives to write to the
DVD+R format.
