MAM-A's silver Recording surface CD-Rs use Mitsui's Patented Phthalocyanine dye, which reacts more quickly to writing lasers than other dyes, such as Cyanine. The result is sharper pit edges that are easier for drives to read and more reliable playback of your recorded information. The Phthalocyanine dye naturally resists sunlight better than others dyes and resists the considerable heat generated by most drives. MAM-A CD-Rs are highly compatible with all writers and readers on the market.
