As the world’s smallest broadcast digital videocassette, Maxell DVCPRO
Tape provides superior image quality and outstanding performance to fit a
wide variety of Broadcast needs, including ENG/EFP applications. Maxell applies
its many years of broadcast videocassette tape engineering expertise and
advanced tape technologies to create the durable and reliable magnetic tape and
shell that DVCPRO technology demands.
- Compact digital videocassette ideal for ENG/EFP shooting environments
- World's smallest digital videocassette provides superior image quality
and outstanding performance
- Uniformly dispersed fillers minimize head abrasion and provide
continuous reliability
- Large shell window allows for clear vision of remaining tape and winding
conditions
- Videocassette shell and cover feature a static-resistant resin that
prevents the attraction of dust and foreign particles
Superior Quality: Maxell developed 0.1μm New Ceramic Armor Metal
Particles to achieve higher magnetic energy. The tape also utilizes a new
calendering technology that optimizes tape surface smoothness. This process
delivers an improved short wavelength output and decreased noise creating a
broadcast quality tape that meets the high demands of DVCPRO, such as its 4.4 μm
/bit recording density.
Continuous Reliability: Uniformly dispersed fillers in the DVCPRO tape
formulation minimize head abrasion by reducing friction between the head and
tape during high speed head rotations, cleaning debris from the head. Maxell’s
special binder ensures long-term durability even in extreme ENG/EFP
environments, and in demanding editing and playback modes such as still-frame
and shuttle.
Professional Features: The large shell window design allows for a
clear vision of remaining tape and winding conditions. To ensure a low error
rate, the videocassette shell and cover feature a static-resistant resin that
prevents the attraction of dust and foreign particles that may cause dropouts.
